1. Who we are
AirDial is a voice AI platform that lets you have live, phone-style conversations with AI personas. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@airdial.co.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, country, and age verification status when you create an account.
- Voice session data: metadata about each call (duration, persona selected, timestamps) and transcripts of your conversations for safety and quality purposes.
- Payment data: transaction records (amount, date, currency). Card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, device type, operating system, app version) used for security and to diagnose bugs.
- Microphone audio: captured during a voice session to power the real-time conversation. Audio is streamed to our speech-to-text provider and is not stored beyond the session unless flagged for safety review.
3. Why we collect it
- To operate and deliver the AirDial service.
- To verify that users meet the minimum age requirement (18+).
- To process payments and maintain billing records.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and illegal activity.
- To improve voice quality, persona behaviour, and overall product experience.
- To send you transactional emails (account, billing, security). We will ask separately before sending marketing messages.
4. Who we share data with
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (EU/US).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text transcription of voice sessions.
- ElevenLabs — AI voice synthesis.
- OpenAI — large language model powering persona responses.
- Vercel / Railway — web and API hosting.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We share data with third parties only to operate the service or when required by law.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records). Conversation transcripts used only for safety review are deleted after 90 days unless a legal hold applies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@airdial.co. We will respond within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings, which triggers immediate deletion of your profile data.
7. Data deletion
To request full deletion of your data, you can either delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or email privacy@airdial.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
8. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use row-level security in our database so your data is isolated from other users. Access to personal data is restricted to team members who need it to operate the service.
9. Children
AirDial is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have done so, we will delete the account and associated data immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after that point means you accept the updated policy.
